Sara Little is an Associate Lawyer who practices exclusively in the areas of criminal, professional discipline and regulatory law at both the trial and appellate levels.
Sara began at BT Legal in 2019 as a summer student and returned as an articling student in 2020. Prior to returning to BT as an Associate, Sara completed a Judicial Clerkship at the Court of Appeal for Ontario where she worked with some of the top criminal law jurists in the province.
Prior to law school, Sara received her B.A. in International Development Studies and Political Science from McGill University in 2017.
Sara obtained her Juris Doctor from Windsor Law in 2020 where she graduated summa cum laude. During her time at Windsor Law, Sara competed in both the Gale Cup and Arnup Cup moots. Her team placed second overall at the Arnup Cup, qualifying for nationals. Sara also worked as both a Research and Teaching Assistance for David Tanovich, a leading Canadian criminal law scholar. Sara also worked as an associate editor for the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, and volunteered at a local legal aid clinic throughout law school. In her last year of law school, Sara served as the President of the Criminal Law Association of Windsor and spent a semester interning for a judge of the Ontario Court of Justice.
